TL;DR: Beautiful upscale venue with a fantastic dog friendly patio and excellent service for large groups. The kitchen sink breakfast and strawberry ricotta pancakes are highly recommended after a weekend outdoors. My group of eight dined out on the patio for Sunday brunch on a beautiful day. We had two dogs with us as we were rounding out a camping trip in nearby Halifax, and the staff was more than accommodating by bringing out a bowl of water for them. The restaurant itself is a sprawling campus featuring beautiful vintage architecture inside the main building, alongside a modernized covered patio for comfortable outdoor dining all year round. Service was excellent throughout our meal. We made these reservations a few weeks in advance for such a large party with animals, and they were completely ready for us when we arrived. The food was above average and exactly what I have come to expect from slightly upscale American brunch spots. I opted for the kitchen sink breakfast, which is rightfully named since it includes eggs, a thick slice of country ham, biscuit and gravy, and home fried potatoes. Everything was well prepared and really hit the spot after being outside for a few

While in the area for a conference, we were hoping to find a place that could match both the meal and the overall vibe from the night before. After some thoughtful review searching, we landed on Greystone Public House in Harrisburg and I have to say, we were really glad we made that choice. There were certainly dining options in and near the hotel, and those absolutely have their place. But sometimes a short drive opens things up a bit. Getting outside the immediate conference setting let us explore a little, and it ended up being exactly what we were hoping for. Even walking up, the charm of the place stood out. The historic feel, the warm lighting, the welcoming exterior all set the tone before we even sat down. Inside carried that same balance of comfortable and just elevated enough to feel like a true night out. The food followed right along. The Bibb lettuce salad with apples and candied walnuts was fresh, crisp, and nicely balanced. Simple ingredients done well. And the crab cakes were truly outstanding. Generous, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Paired with green beans and roasted potatoes, it was one of those plates where everything just worked together and you fo

This was our first time eating here. We met a few people. I unfortunately didn’t take pictures of our food. My wife had the crab cake sandwich and I had the salmon blt. Both were delicious. Our server β€œHeidi” was very friendly and efficient. We will definitely go back. Finally got to return. We started with the cheese curds which were different than any we had before and they were delicious. Then we had a cheese burger and the salmon blt. Both were excellent. Our server β€œDebbie” was a gem. The only negative was a rude customer that decided to have a full blown cell phone conversation about 2 tables away. Some people have no consideration.

We came here on a Thursday evening in July with friends from out of town for dinner. We made a reservation online ahead of time. The place seemed pretty busy when we arrived but the hostess took us to our table which was in a room that was around the corner and it was not as crowded. Our server, Maddi was right with us to take our drink orders and gave us water. We ordered a couple appetizers which were very good. Our meals were excellent. We shared dessert between the four of us and that also was very good. Maddi was very personable and attentive and she had an overall joyful energy. She really handled changes of mind and questions from the group very well. The atmosphere was easygoing. This was a great place for our casual group dinner and I could see it being a nice place for a fancy date as well. Prices were what we expected and comparable to other places we have been. Parking was easy. We had enjoyable time.

A very nice evening at Greystone, our first time. Service was very good as was the atmosphere. We started with oysters on the half shell, then followed with the cod and salmon entrees. We came back in January 2026 and had another great meal. We’ll continue to go out of our way to enjoy the Greystone.
